GLOBAL OUTREACH
Gail Pyper has worked as a registered nurse for the past 46 years. She has been volunteering internationally, providing direct medical care through an interpreter for the past 22 years. She has participated in 8 different countries on 31 teams which have served over 90,000 people. Her work includes relief work in Thailand after the 2005 tsunami, and in Haiti after the 2009 earthquake.
Gail prepares to go to Guatemala in May 2024. It is UIL’s honor to support her work in our world.
In collaboration with Homage Senior Services, UIL’s Hands-on-Housing leadership team selects a homeowner in the greater Lynnwood area and, after extensive planning and with the support of the entire UIL community, facilitates a one-day home makeover complete with live music, great food, fun music and lots of love! Supporting area seniors who struggle to meet the demands of their aging homes is one way UIL comes together to reach into its greater community. Please join us!
