MarySue's Mindful Musings

If instead of trying to change our lives by hammering them into any kind of predetermined shape, we instead attend to the inner rhythm of our days and of our lives, we get a whole different sense of our own human and divine presence.  What I’m suggesting is that we work with the idea of mindfulness rather than the idea of will.

If you understand that your soul knows the geography of your destiny and that your soul alone has the map of your future, then you can trust this indirect and oblique side of yourself to take you where you need to go and, more importantly, to take you how you need to go.  Each person has the signature of his or her unique journey in their soul.  If you attend to yourself and seek to come into your own presence, you will find exactly the right rhythm for your own life.
