Using proven Yoga based stress management techniques

To experience relaxation is to rid ourselves of excess stress. Many things in our lives can contribute to stress, but there are relaxation techniques and meditation that can help us achieve a healthier mind, body and Spirit.
The “Surrender Your Stress” class takes you through proven stress relief methods. It begins with very gentle Yoga relaxation techniques. Once your body is relaxed you are then led into a meditation time with soft music. All of this takes place in our beautiful sanctuary where the surroundings also help you to unwind.
This class is facilitated by Jerry Hassenstab a trained Yoga instructor and Stress Management specialist. Jerry has conducted highly successful Stress Management classes through Swedish Hospital’s Cardiac care unit. Jerry is also experienced with a wide variety of physical types and only uses very gentle methods to achieve the relaxation results.
All supplies are furnished which include mats and blankets, but feel free to bring your own if you choose.
